version 2.2.0 has a known regression bug in HTTP/s handling (see http://koanlogic.com/klone/changelog.html)
, so in order to use HTTP/s features you need to upgrade. In fact,
I've tried your setup with 2.2.1 and it works smoothly.
In attachment you find the PKIX credentials I've used for testing,
which should be the only significant delta between yours and my setup.
